About Clough Construction

Clough Construction is a family business run by Deanne and Scott Clough. Clough Construction has actively been working in Marin for over 18 years. Scott Clough started his apprenticeship in construction with his father in the family's cabinet shop/boat business over 30 years ago. Quality workmanship is a family taught trait. 

Clough Construction specializes in all outdoor construction. This includes:

• decks (from ground level to third story structures)

• fences

• arbors, and 

• retaining walls. 

All construction projects done by Clough Construction are built to last. Clough Construction continues to grow due to their excellent service and top quality projects. 

Clough has grown to an environmentally aware construction company with 5 deck crews and 2 fence crews. All of our employees have a vested interest in our company and your project due to our profit sharing program. This guarantees excellence on all levels.

The office has devised a cost effective yet through way to produce drawings in order to achieve permits. Experience and knowledge are huge assets when dealing with all the different jurisdictions in Marin County. 

Clough Construction was the first company to actively promote alternative decking materials over 8 years ago. Deanne and Scott did this by installing Trex, Timbertech, and Pau Lope at their residence to adequately test all of these products before offering them to consumers. All of these decks still exist and are on display by appointment. It is impossible to understand fully all the idiosyncrasies of any product until you live with it for an extended period of time. These experiences along with hundreds of installations make us experts. We would be happy to share our knowledge directly with you. In addition Clough Construction offers hand selected redwood and cedar materials for those customers who prefer traditional wood.
