The Construction Process

• Customer phones office and schedules an estimate with Scott Clough. Customer always is able to speak to a human being during office hours.

• Clough Construction calls the day before to remind you that they will be visiting you.

• Scott Clough visits your home and helps you design a deck, fence, retaining wall or arbor specifically for your lifestyle. A good design melds into your existing architecture.

• Scott Clough submits a formal written estimate to you via mail and fax (if requested).

• You call and give us authorization to build your project. We are delighted and honored that you chose us. Depending on the scope of the project. Small projects or projects that do not require a permit are scheduled.

• If permits are required Scott and our architect meet with you at your residence to  measure your lot , go over details of the project, and clarify any design issues.

• A complete set of drawings is submitted to you as well as to Scott for approval. (We encourage our architect to do the minimal amount of drawing necessary to achieve the permit process.)

• Your project is submitted to your respective jurisdiction for approval.

• Upon approval, permits are picked up. Your job is scheduled within 3 weeks of approval.

• Start date of your job - Scott Clough, our foreman, and yourself meet at your job site to clarify all details of your project.

• During your project our men come every consecutive business day. The same foreman is always on site. Scott visits often and is available by phone to both office staff and our customers if questions arise.

• If a permit is in effect Clough's office coordinates all inspections at proper times and meets with the inspectors.

• Upon completion our concern is to make sure that every aspect of your project is to your liking. Customer satisfaction means everything to us as it does to you.

• Customer is so happy that they refer us to their friends, family and neighbors. Clough Construction restores customers faith in the construction field.

• Clough Construction calls to verify customer's satisfaction and say thank you.
