Clough Construction built some of our fencing and added new metal gates at our house. Their work is top quality, the finished product looks excellent, and their entire team was professional and easy to work with throughout the projects.

I highly recommend Clough Construction in San Rafael. They recently installed two gates and metal fencing on my property, and I am extremely pleased with the results.
The black gates are beautiful, well-crafted, and provide excellent protection against wildfire. The latch and locking mechanisms are exceptionally smooth and operate flawlessly, which speaks to the quality of the workmanship.
The installation was completed professionally and with great attention to detail. Throughout the entire project, the staff was helpful, friendly, and responsive to any questions or requests I had.
From start to finish, Clough Construction delivered outstanding service and a high-quality finished product. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for fencing or gate installation.

Excellent work! Clough came out, gave a great quote and put up a gorgeous ipe wood fence. If you need it to look *perfect* these are the people to work with in San Rafael, Marin County.

We recently replaced a wood front fence and two gates with aluminum using Clough. We also replaced a second wood fence with wood. We could not be more pleased with the quality of the work and the materials. We had enough positive recommendations about Clough that we didn't get bids, but feel the price was good especially considering the quality.

Scott, Deanne and the crew were so easy to work with on my fence and aluminum gate project. They were attentive to my concerns and delivered as expected with beautiful results. I love looking at my new fence and gates every day! Looking forward to working with them again in the future!

Clough is fabulous. They installed a complicated fence system (board fence, wire fence, offsets, and coyote rollers on top, on a steep hill, with metal fencing and gates near the house as required by fire regulations. The work is gorgeous. Their team is so competent and resourceful, coming up with solutions to tricky problems like building the fence over an existing outbuilding to exclude wildlife and building around retaining structures on the hill. Plus they are really nice people and easy to deal with.
Some 15 years ago, they also built a deck for me with concrete piers and a stairway with railings leading up to a bank. It is still as solid as a rock. I recommend them highly.

Clough has built 3 fences for us. Deanne Clough (in the office) and Scott Clough (in the field), are both knowledgeable and personable. The job site was always kept tidy, the jobs were done quickly, and the workmanship always beautiful. Highly recommend this company.
