We have had a fantastic experience with Clough Construction. From the moment you pick up the phone and speak to Deanne... to set up an appointment you feel like you are in good hands. The estimate by Scott was very fast and the estimate was fair. Their crew was punctual and tidy and their work was beautiful. One issue came up with the aesthetics of our gate and Deanne was very quick to work on a solution. It turned out I actually loved the way the gate looked but wanted a few minor tweaks which their team was very happy to make. Since our job was finished, in a very unfortunate event, a visitor broke our gate. The Clough team came out immediately to fix it for us and it looks like no damage was ever done. I love their work and I love the way they work. A wonderful example of small family owned business with integrity and and craftsmanship.read more

We've hired Clough Construction many times. Over the years we've replaced 3 fences and now we have just completed a... new deck plus redoing the support posts for a sagging deck and adding in a sliding glass door.They are trustworthy and do quality work. Whether you have a tricky project or a straight forward fence. There is always clear communication. Hard working employees that leave a clean worksite. You know it is a good sign that they have employees that have been with the company 20+ years. A deep bench of talent.I would not hesitate to hire Clough again. They might not be the cheapest, but in the end it will be worth it. You will get a beautiful project that will last and no hassle!read more

Our house has 1000 sq ft of decking over three levels and we have lived here for over 15 years. I have I used Clough... Construction in the past for smaller maintenance projects, to replace beams and gates, and they have always been excellent.So when it came time to do an expansive project to replace all of the old railings with modern Feeney cable railings, as well as rebuild two sets of stairs between our upper, middle and lower decks. It was an easy decision to call Clough Construction for the project. I did not even get any other bids, as I already had confidence in their work quality! The Clough Construction team are very easy to work with and put clients first at every step of the way. Deanne follows up on a regular basis to make sure you are happy and Scott is flexible to work with as project changes inevitably come up.The team were onsite for 6 weeks as it was a significant amount of work. The job site was always kept clean, Quinn and Lull's work ethic was exception and their attention to detail was second to none. They really are master carpenters.We have had many compliments on the finished work and could not be happier with it. Whenever I need any decking or fencing work, I always call Clough!read more

We have had excellent experiences with family-run Clough Construction on a few projects at our house. They are true... craftsman who care about quality, doing right by their customers, and producing beautiful redwood projects. They treated our property with respect, always leaving the job site clean and tidy. Communication was excellent; we were always aware of job specifics and on site working hours. They were easy to contact and quick to respond whenever questions arose. Billing was upfront and we were never charged anything that wasn’t expected. We are very pleased with all of their beautiful work and how it has enhanced the beauty of our home.read more

Clough Construction are known to our neighborhood now as the Wood Whisperers. All of their guys are incredible... artisans, at the height of their craft, who produce the most beautiful work regardless of the awkwardness of the problems they face. We had 2 months with Quinn and Lol replacing our wraparound redwood deck, who are Incredibly nice people with the best work ethic I've had the pleasure to experience. Would re-hire them in a heartbeat and would wait a year for them to be free, if they were booked up, rather than use an inferior company. They are that good, and that worth it. Wonderful family run company with honest, hard working people captained by the lovely Deanne and Scott, who made the whole experience of installing complicated decking in Tiburon a lot less painful than it could easily have been.read more

We are extremely pleased with Clough Construction. They tore down our old decks and rebuilt our 2 new decks from... scratch. This was a large and challenging job, about 1400 sq ft of decks, 25 feet above ground on a hillside. Clough crew worked in a timely manner, were very respectful of our needs and very professional throughout. They finished the job on the promised date. Clough Construction truly deserves 5 stars! From our initial contact with Deanne to the on-site visits/design plan with... Scott to the construction team, everything was on-point. Clough installed 2 large decking areas on a extremely steep hillside. A rather difficult application which several other contractors would not even bid on. Clough had the right team to get it done. Due to the slope, the scope of the project had to be re-worked, but Scott was patient with us to finalize a design plan that would also work within our budget. He came back multiple times during the build to make sure we were all on the same page.The crew worked quickly and professionally. They showed up on time, were friendly and cleaned up daily. Rick, the foreman communicated clearly and involved us in any design decisions that needed to be made. The workmanship is excellent and the finished deck/railing is beautiful. It was completed on time and the job site was immaculate upon completion.We would not hesitate to recommend CC and are planning to use them again on future projects.Incredible experience...Thank You Clough Construction!read more
